Wayne has been involved in many roles both on and off the stage.

As an actor, he has portrayed Don Quixote/Cervantes in MAN OF LA MANCHA, Frank Butler in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, Sam in SHENANDOAH, Edward Middleton in THE DRUNKARD and Peter Quince in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM.

As a singer, he has been a soloist for presentations of Handel's MESSIAH with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra at the historic Ryman Auditorium, and "An Evening with Rodgers and Hammerstein" with the Abilene (TX) Philharmonic Orchestra.

Wayne was Managing Director for Nightingale Theater in Nashville, producing shows at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center including 1776, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, and Earl Hamner Jr.’s THE HOMECOMING, presented at Nashville's historic Belle Meade Mansion.

He has co-directed musicals, including SHENANDOAH and FRIENDS FOREVER, and has been a producer, voice-over talent and actor for several original comedy and musical productions.

Wayne is a seasoned direct marketing veteran, serving as president and creative director of Allegiant Direct, Inc., the company he founded in 1984. He was a recipient of his industry's highest honor, the Direct Marketing Association "ECHO AWARD," given for his contribution to the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation Society in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He has provided consulting and creative services for more than 300 nonprofit organizations, including: American Heart Association ... American Cancer Society ... Salvation Army ... March of Dimes ... Easter Seals ... American Lung ... Sierra Club ... Greenpeace ... St. Jude Children's Hospital ... Johns Hopkins Children's Center ... and KCET Public TV/Los Angeles.
