Billy Sprague is an accomplished songwriter, author, performer and recording artist. He has received four GMA Dove awards and toured with Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith.

Some of his most notable compositions include:  VIA DOLOROSA, Song of the Year 1986, Sandi Patti; A MAN AFTER YOUR OWN HEART, Gary Chapman, Inspirational Song of the Year 1997; CAN YOU REACH MY FRIEND? Billy’s own recordings include:  PRESS ON, HEAVEN IS A LONG HELLO, I WISH, LA VIE, I CALL IT LOVE and HEAVENLY FATHER.  His latest project is entitled SONGS IN THE KEY OF AWE. 

His book, IS GOD REALLY THERE? AND IS HE GOOD? (Harvest House) explores the nature of life, belief, tragedy and the Divine choreography and wonder of being alive. In his own words, “You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be glad you’re not me."

In his second book, LETTER TO A GRIEVING HEART (Harvest House), Billy gathered lessons learned from his own experiences with grief in this personal letter to those facing the loss of a loved one.
